The morning after a good party is not the moment for a deep clean, and it does not need to be. A little order the night before and an hour the next day gets the house back without losing the Sunday. Here is the sequence our team leads use in their own homes.

Before bed, ten minutes

• Glasses and bottles into the kitchen, nothing else moves

• Food into the fridge or the bin, so nothing sits out overnight

• Any spill on fabric or carpet blotted with cold water, not rubbed

• Dishwasher loaded and started, even if it is only half full

That is the whole list. Anything more and you are cleaning tired, which is slower and worse.

The next morning, one hour

Start with the kitchen, because it is where the mess is concentrated. Empty the dishwasher, reload it, clear and wipe the counters, then the floor. Move to the living room: cushions back, surfaces wiped, a quick vacuum. Bathrooms last, since they are usually the least disturbed.

The one job that cannot wait

Red wine, coffee or anything greasy on upholstery or rugs. The longer it sits the more it sets. Blot with cold water immediately, and tell your team on the next visit so they bring the right treatment.

When to call us instead

Bigger parties, or a house that needs to be guest-ready again within days, are a good fit for a one-time clean. Book it the same day and a team can usually be there within forty-eight hours.
