What is actually in our cleaning caddy

Seven products, two cloths and one vacuum. What every Cleaning team carries into a home, and why the list is that short.

People expect a van full of products. What actually walks into your home is one caddy, one HEPA vacuum and a mop bucket. Seven products cover every surface on the fifty-point checklist, and the short list is on purpose: fewer bottles means fewer mistakes on delicate surfaces and less to carry up your stairs.

The seven products

  • A plant-based all-purpose spray for counters, fronts and most surfaces

  • A bathroom cleaner for tile, tubs and grout

  • A glass cleaner that does not streak on mirrors or screens

  • A wood-safe polish for furniture and cabinet fronts

  • A stainless steel cleaner for appliance fronts

  • A neutral floor cleaner safe for sealed wood, tile and vinyl

  • A disinfectant, used only where you have asked for it

Everything is unscented or lightly scented, and every bottle is labelled with what it is for so a new team member never has to guess.

The tools

Colour-coded microfiber cloths, one colour per zone so a bathroom cloth never touches a kitchen counter. A HEPA vacuum with a brush head for upholstery and a crevice tool for stairs. A flat mop with washable pads. A small step stool for the top of the fridge and the cabinets.

What we do not bring

Bleach, oven spray, ammonia and anything abrasive. If a job genuinely needs stronger chemistry, like a neglected oven, we ask first and bring it for that visit only.

Your products, if you prefer

Some clients keep their own favourites under the sink, and the team is happy to use them. Add a note to your home profile and it carries over to every visit.

Written by the teams

Every piece comes from a Cleaning team lead and is checked by the office before it goes out.

Written by the people who clean these homes weekly

Cleaning teams see fifty homes a month each. Everything in this piece comes from that routine, not from a product brochure.
