Two weeks out
Book a deep clean or a kitchen and bath detail if you have not had one this season
Inside the oven, fridge and freezer, before they fill up
Guest room closet and drawers cleared and wiped
Windows and glass doors, while the weather allows
These are the jobs that take the longest and last the longest. Done early, they stay done.
One week out
Bathrooms get a full detail: grout, glass, fixtures, and the cupboard guests will open looking for a spare roll. Living areas get the furniture pulled out and the floor edges done. Order fresh linens and towels if you are short.
Two days out
Beds made with fresh linens, towels out, a lamp checked in the guest room. A standard clean the day before guests arrive keeps kitchen and baths at baseline. Our recurring clients simply move their slot that week.
The day itself
Nothing. That is the point of the countdown. A ten-minute pass on the entry, the powder room and the kitchen counters is all anyone should be doing while the first car pulls in.
